Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the shooting death of a 19-year-old in his own Gwinnett County neighborhood.

Joshua Cook, 17, Terrance Thorton, 17,and Corey Bryant, 18, are all charged with murder and armed robbery in the killing of Jacquorrius Madison. Bryant, who turned himself in on Tuesday, also had an outstanding warrant through Atlanta Police Department. All of the suspects are being held without bond at the Gwinnett County Jail.

Police say they believe the homicide is drug-related.

Police said shortly before 6 p.m. Saturday, a number of youth were hanging out at the pool and tennis court area off of Grove Lake Street, when someone fired shots and struck Madison.

Police said Madison was transported to a nearby hospital and died of his injuries.

Investigators interviewed a number of witnesses for several hours.

Neighbors said they were shocked someone would commit a brutal crime in their quiet neighborhood.

"It's a sad situation. It's a matter to be concerned about," said one neighbor.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
