ALPHARETTA, Ga. - Alpharetta police and at least two other jurisdictions are asking for the public’s help catching who they call a serial burglar.
His latest crime happened in Alpharetta early Sunday morning. Investigators said he broke into the Xfinity on Northpoint Parkway. His mode of operation – he uses the rooftop air conditioning units and crawls through the ventilation duct.
Once inside the business, he targets the safe. He unhinges the safe doors and takes the cash. Then, he puts the door back on, as if it was never removed.
Authorities describe him a small-framed black man, between 5’6-5’8 and weighing between 140-160 pounds. The business is now offering a $5,000 reward. Police said the burglar has also targeted Xfinity stores in Douglasville and Morrow.
