The suspect in a Gwinnett County road rage stabbing that has happened last week has turned himself in, but he's not the only one being charged in the incident, police said.

Officials say 25-year-old Eugene Brants of Dacula turned himself in to Gwinnett County Police after seeing media coverage of the incident.

Originally, police reports had Brants pulling up next to 38-year-old Jesse Cole on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Sugar Hill and stabbing Cole multiple times. Detectives now say Cole and Brants both exited their cars and confronted each other, during which a fight took place.

Brants has been transported to Gwinnett County Detention Center after being arrested and charged with aggravated assault.

Police say that Cole has agreed to turn himself in for the charge of battery once he has recovered.
