Police: Chicago student arrested for bringing gun to school
A Chicago student has been arrested after she brought a gun to her high school, police say.
Mecca Bryant, 18, entered Harper High School in Englewood on Thursday with a gun in her backpack, police said. An x-ray machine detected the weapon.
Bryant has been charged with one felony count of unlawful use of a weapon/carrying on school property.
