Pechanga Casino in Temecula evacuated after reported fire

Emergency crews have been sent to the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula after a reported fire on site Monday afternoon that led to evacuations.

According to reports from the scene several fire trucks were lined up outside the casino at around noon.

A video was posted to Twitter showing some casino visitors being evacuated. One person was seen being taken away on a stretcher.

Pechanga Resort Casino tweeted out, 'At approximately 11:30AM, a fire broke out in an elevator portal in the original tower of the hotel. The Pechanga Fire Department immediately responded and knocked the fire down. Out of an abundance of caution, Team Members, and guests in the hotel tower were evacuated. The incident was not near the casino.'
