NC flags lowered at half-staff in honor of UNC Charlotte shooting victims
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - Governor Roy Cooper ordered all North Carolina flags at state facilities, buildings, and grounds to be lowered to half-staff, effective immediately Tuesday, and through sunset on Friday to remember and honor the victims of this week's tragedy at UNC Charlotte.
Other schools, businesses, counties and individuals are encourages to fly the flag at half-staff this week as a sign of respect for those lost.
