The segment of the trail stretches from the Bankhead MARTA Station alongside Proctor Creek to the existing West Highlands Trail.

Mayor Bottoms said she is excited to bring life and energy back to the Westside.

Once complete, the seven-mile greenway will span from Maddox Park and the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail to the Chattahoochee River.
