Man shot in parking lot of Cobb County Walmart

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A fight in a Cobb County Walmart parking lot took a scary turn when shots were fired.

Cobb County police said that two people in a Walmart parking lot on the 6500 block of Barrett Parkway at Powder Springs Road got into a confrontation.

During the fight, police say the people started shooting.

One unnamed person was hit and transported to a local hospital in a private vehicle.

The other person is on the run. Police are currently searching for them.

The names of both individuals have not been released at this time.
