Man robbed and beaten

The New York City Police Department is looking for two men wanted in connection with a brutal robbery in the Bronx.

It happened on Saturday May 26 at approximately 5:30 a.m. in front of 2423 Cambreleng Avenue.  A 49-year-old man was walking down the street when one of the attackers came up from behind and put him in a choke hold.  After the victim was dragged to the ground, the other man ran up and removed the victim's phone from his pants pocket while the original attacker punched and kicked the victim in the head.

The two men then ran away southbound on Cambreleng Avenue. The victim was treated at the hospital for bruising and swelling to his face and head.
 
One suspect is black, 18 to 25 years old; last seen wearing a black hooded sweater and black pants.  The second suspect is Hispanic, 18 to 25 years old, with his hair in a ponytail; last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, light colored pants and black sneakers.
