Man arrested in 2024 Lithonia drive-by shooting case

A 21-year-old Atlanta man has been arrested in connection with a 2024 drive-by shooting in DeKalb County, authorities said.

What we know:

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit, working with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Clayton County police, took Davion Jermarie Knox into custody on March 31 at a home in Clayton County. Officials said the arrest was made without incident.

Knox is facing 31 felony charges, including multiple counts of aggravated assault with intent to murder, violations of Georgia’s Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and first-degree criminal damage to property. Investigators say he is accused of firing multiple rounds at people and homes on Stonebridge Crescent in Lithonia on Feb. 10, 2024. No injuries were reported in the shooting.

What's next:

Knox was transported to the DeKalb County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
