Hundreds attend vigil to honor life of dispatcher

Wearing her favorite color, green, hundreds of people turned out in Forsyth County Sunday night to honor the life of Erin Jones. Jones was a Forsyth County dispatcher.

On July, 8th it was Jones that was on the other end of that call pleading for help. Deputies say Jones was shot and killed by her boyfriend before he turned the gun on himself.

"She was love let us now pass the love forward," father of Jones.

Deputies call Jones the angel in their ears. She was known as being the calm voice on the other end of stressful situations. Her 911 family sat in embrace Sunday sharing memories of her life.

Jones leaves two young children behind.
