Heavy Rain Could Cause Flooding
ATLANTA, Ga. - A Flood Watch has been issued for a large portion of north Georgia.
Up to 2" of rain could fall late Tuesday through Wednesday afternoon with isolated higher amounts of up to 3". With saturated soils in place any heavy rain will easily runoff into streams and creeks leading to the potential of flooding. Also make sure storm and yard drains are clear of leaves to avoid flooding as well.
After Wednesday drier and cooler air will return for the rest of the week.
