The Great Wolf Lodge in Georgia is going “blue” for World Autism Month in April.

The resorts, located just south of LaGrange, Georgia, will be offering a limited-edition, blue version of their signature Wolf Ears for a minimum $5 donation. All proceeds will go towards Autism Speaks.

“We’re honored to have this opportunity to give back during World Autism Month and to help raise funds for a terrific organization like Autism Speaks,” said Erin Wallace, chief operating officer of Great Wolf Resorts. “Our Blue Wolf Ears campaign is just the start of a long-term partnership with Autism Speaks. In the future, we hope to use their expertise to help guide us as we continue to explore ways to make our resorts even more welcoming for people with autism and their families.”

“We are thrilled that Great Wolf Lodge chose us as its charity beneficiary for the Blue Wolf Ears campaign,” said Tom Frazier, chief science officer for Autism Speaks. “Sensory differences, uncertainty and social demands can make it challenging for some people with autism to participate in recreational activities, but autism-aware destinations enable the entire family to enjoy these experiences together and make memories.”

The Great Wolf Lodge is also launching a social media campaign to help match those donations. Those wearing the blue ears are asked to post to social media using hashtag #GreatWolfCares. An additional donation of $5 will go towards Autism Speaks, up to $20,000. They hope to raise more than $50,000.
