GA first lady Sandra Deal reads to elementary school children

ATLANTA - Georgia’s first lady took some time to read to elementary school children Tuesday.

Sandra Deal visited some of the children of Primrose School of Cumming West as part of her Read Across Georgia initiative.

The first lady also marked the start of Early Childhood Education & Pre-K month.

Deal’s initiative seeks to increase the percentage of children who can read independently at grade-level.
