Man suspected of robbing Wells Fargo bank in Flowery Branch arrested

The Flowery Branch Police Department has arrested 37-year-old Dusty McCoy Krantz of Gainesville as the suspect in the bank robbery at Wells Fargo on Nov. 4.

Krantz was arrested in a hotel room on Dorsey Street on the evening of Nov. 5. The Gainesville Police Department assisted Flowery Branch PD in taking Krantz into custody.

Flowery Branch police are on the lookout for a man they say made a quiet demand for money at the bank.

Officials say the potential suspect approached a bank teller with a note at the Wells Fargo located at 4706 Hog Mountain Road on Saturday at 10:59 a.m.

The bank teller handed over an undisclosed amount of money, according to police, and the thief was seen leaving in a dark-colored sedan.
