Flooding at Morehouse College dorms displaces more than 100 students
ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - More than 100 students at Morehouse College in Atlanta were displaced Tuesday night after flooding in their dormitory.
Campus officials said a sprinkler system problem caused the flooding at Graves Hall. The water damaged 15 rooms as well as common areas, forcing evacuations. Some of the freshmen impacted said their electronics, furniture, and clothing were impacted.
FOX 5 News learned the students were moved to another residence hall on campus Wednesday.
Graves Hall is more than 130 years old, according to a campus spokesperson.
