East Point family escapes house fire on Harlan Drive

EAST POINT, Ga. - A family in East Point is safe after a house fire broke out early Thursday morning.
What we know:
The fire occurred at a home in the 2700 block of Harlan Drive. According to officials, all family members were able to evacuate the house without injury.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Fire crews have not yet released additional details about the extent of the damage.
