Crews battling large recycling yard fire in Ontario

ONTARIO, Calif. (FOX 11) - Firefighters are working to extinguish a large recycling yard fire in Ontario that broke out shortly before 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Ontario Fire Department says the recycling yard located in the 600 block of E. Main Street is a used cardboard and plastics facility.

No injuries have been reported. The fire is threatening nearby structures. About 42 fire personnel are battling this blaze.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No further details were immediately known.
