Driver airlifted after crash

A serious injury crash in Clayton County sends at least one person to the hospital

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - A driver was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital following a serious crash Friday morning.

It happened at Highway 85 and Garden Walk Boulevard in Clayton County shortly after 7 a.m.

The crash appeared to involve a Mercury sedan and a semi-truck.

Police said the driver was conscious when taken from the scene for treatment.
