Children's Healthcare fires employee over Charlie Kirk comments
ATLANTA - Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta says it has fired an employee after learning about a social media post discussing conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

FOX 5 received multiple calls and emails regarding the staff member, who allegedly posted an expletive-filled message on X, formerly Twitter, about Kirk following his death.
In a statement, the hospital confirmed the termination but did not release the employee’s name.

"Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is aware of inappropriate comments made on social media by an employee yesterday. This type of rhetoric is not acceptable for Children’s employees and violates our social media policy. The employee has been terminated."

Delta also suspended multiple employees for comments related to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said he instructed staff at the Pentagon to look for comments about the assassination made by soldiers.

Kirk, 31, was shot and killed Wednesday afternoon on the campus of Utah Valley University on Wednesday afternoon.
On Friday, the FBI announced that the accused shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, had been arrested.
