Calif. Firefighters Honor Brave Boy with Shopping Spree

A 5-year-old boy, who was hailed a hero after saving his grandmother from a burning home, received a special shopping spree from some California firefighters.

Nathaniel Stocks was given the prestigious title of hero after he crawled through the smoke of his burning home in Phelan to wake his grandmother up. The fire happened earlier this month.

Most of the boy's toys were burned in the fire.

To honor him for his brave work, the San Bernardino Fire Department took Nathaniel on a shopping trip at Target on Sunday. The San Bernardino County Professional Firefighters Local 935 Union sponsored the shopping spree.
