Atlanta homeowner watches crawl space burglary on camera

ATLANTA - Atlanta Police officers arrested a 44-year-old man on Aug. 15 after catching him stealing copper wire inside a crawl space at a home on Beecher Street.
What we know:
Officers responded to a burglary in progress around 7:40 a.m. in the 1600 block of Beecher St. SW. The victim told 911 operators they were watching a man break into their crawl space on live security video to steal copper wire.
When officers arrived at the home, they caught the suspect in the act. The man ran from police on foot before officers apprehended him and took him into custody.
Police identified the suspect as Travis Taylor. Taylor faces multiple charges including first degree burglary, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and obstruction.
