Aspiring Atlanta Musicians Receive Boost from 21st Century Fox

ATLANTA - An Atlanta school is getting the gift of music.

FOX 5 News Edge Anchor Tom Haynes was there representing 21st Century Fox along with the Give a Note Foundation to present students at Benjamin E. Mays High School with a big check that will help fund their music program.

The National Association for Music Education created the foundation in 2011 to increase support for music programs. Since then, the foundation has been helping aspiring musicians.

Mays High School has an annual music budget of $3,500. This grant nearly doubles the funding for music at the school.

Haynes said he was proud to be able to go out to meet and talk with these amazing student musicians as well as be able to inspire them
