The Georgia Lottery says there were two $1 million winning tickets sold in Georgia in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing.

The winning tickets were sold at the Quik Mart, 48 Broad Street SW, in Atlanta and at the Quick Stop in Douglas, Georgia, which is located at 1656 US Highway 221N.

Lottery officials said Shaadi Edwards claimed the winning million dollar ticket sold in Atlanta. She told lottery officials this was the first time she ever played.

The million dollar tickets matched five numbers from Wednesday's drawing. Those winning numbers were 08-27-34-04-19 and the Powerball is 10.

It appears the already record-breaking $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot will not roll over again. Lottery officials said there are at least three winning tickets in California, Florida and Tennessee. California Lottery officials were the first to report a winning ticket late Wednesday. It was sold at a 7-Eleven in Chino Hills. A large crowd gathered in front of the store late after the news broke.

Hours before the drawing, lottery officials said 85.8% of all possible number combinations had been sold on lottery tickets nationwide.

No ticket matched all six numbers in the previous drawing Saturday night. The jackpot then stood at $950 million. We did, however, have another million dollar winner in Georgia. Dennis Taimanglo of Lawrenceville claimed the $1 million Powerball prize Monday afternoon. He bought the winning ticket at the Simonton Shell station at 920 New Hope Road.
