MARIETTA, Ga. - Can you feel it? Yep, that’s the excitement in the air over the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which quite literally kicks off in exactly two weeks. And the anticipation over the world’s most-watched sporting event is running high at a place where soccer games happen, rain or shine!
Good Day Atlanta’s Paul Milliken spent the morning at Marietta Indoor Sports, an indoor soccer and baseball facility located in Marietta at Cobb Parkway and Highway 41. Yes…that’s right behind Marietta Diner, but we promise that’s not why we spent the morning there! Marietta Indoor Sports features a 70-feet by 140-feet soccer field covered with “GameDay Grass 3DH52” which, according to the website, feels just like real grass. Marietta Indoor Sports hosts several indoor soccer leagues – including youth, men’s, and co-ed teams – and the field is also available for rentals.
We already saw Paul absolutely rule the field during the Good Day Atlanta Battle of the Sexes: Soccer Edition, so how did he do playing indoors? Click the video player to find out!
