Atlanta Food and Wine Festival on Good Day Atlanta

ATLANTA - It's half business and half party which adds up to one delicious experience.

The Atlanta Food and Wine Festival is an entire weekend dedicated to Southern Cuisine and it is just around the corner.

Festival organizers stopped by Good Day Atlanta Thursday morning to discuss the annual event.

Organizers said the event gives participants the opportunity to experience some of the most delicious food available in the city.

"We expect all of our guests first of all eat, drink, and explore the South. And they do so through a couple of different ways. It's by joining us in our classes. Like chef was talking about, we do some really amazing cooking demonstrations and seminars throughout the weekend," said festival co-founder Elizabeth Fichter. "We also have our tasting event which is the perfect opportunity to dip your toes into the water."
