Windy and cold conditions return

Winds will increase during the day on Monday as an area of low pressure moves up the East Coast and high pressure builds in from the west. Sustained northwest winds of 15-20 mph will be common with gusts to 30 mph possible. The strong winds will continue through Monday night. Breezy conditions with northwest winds of 10-15 mph with gusts to 25 mph will be likely through Wednesday. 

Along with the wind will come much colder temperatures. Daytime highs will be in the 50-55 degree range Monday through Wednesday with overnight lows near freezing Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning. 

By the end of the week, highs will be near 70 with a warming trend through the weekend.
