Warming trend to begin following breezy Monday morning

ATLANTA - Cold air that blasted in over the weekend resulted in widespread near or below freezing temperatures Monday morning. 

Despite the cold start, a warming trend begins today. High temperatures will rise into the low 60s - a big difference from record cold temperatures in the 40s Sunday.

By Monday night, the continuing warming trend means temperatures will stay well above freezing and in the mid to upper 40s.  Milder than average days will carry into the first days of November!
