Early Tuesday morning felt more like winter, with several north Georgia counties placed under a Freeze Warning. The warning expired at 9 a.m., and now spring-like temps are making a comeback.

By Tuesday afternoon a nice recovery is in store with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s. The normal high this time of year is 73.

Look for highs to continue to warm to near 80 by Wednesday, and then a bit cooler Thursday and Friday as a weak cold front slips through. The next chance of rain will hold off until Sunday and Monday.
