A strong cold front will arrive late Monday afternoon and evening, ushering in a round of thunderstorms that could be severe.

The main threats with this system will be large hail and damaging winds to 60 mph. The threat for tornadoes is low, but cannot be completely ruled out.

Once the front moves through cooler temperatures will arrive for Tuesday as clouds linger.

Sunshine returns for Wednesday along with a warming trend that will last into the weekend.
