ATLANTA - Friday kicked off with plenty of drizzle and rain. And rain will continue, at times, into the first half of the weekend.
Occasional showers will pass through during the day Friday. Some of the rain can be heavy at times, especially southeast of I-85. Those areas could pick up an inch of rain or more Friday. Northwest Georgia will get lighter amounts.
While rain is still likely Saturday, the showers will be more widely scattered with plenty of breaks in between them. Saturday is not a complete washout, but light showers can pass by at any time of day before we dry out for Sunday.
