120 Atlanta area Zaxby's stores to host fundraiser for Hurricane relief efforts
ATLANTA - Some participating Zaxby's in the Atlanta area will host a fundraiser for disaster relief.
Ten percent of sales from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday will be donated to the American Red Cross disaster relief efforts.
"Serving our communities is at the heart of Zaxby’s core values, and we jump at the chance to help our neighbors when disaster strikes. We are grateful for the opportunity to continue to offer great food while supporting the communities affected by the ongoing disaster in the Southeast,” Zaxby's CEO and co-founder Zach McLeroy said.
The move comes in the wake of the recent Hurricanes Florence which devastated parts of the Carolinas, and Hurricane Michael which damaged parts of South Georgia and the Florida Panhandle.
Zaxby's also said any guests who are not able to make it to a participating location, can also able to donate to the American Red Cross by visiting redcross.org/zaxbys.
