How safe are rideshares? Getting into the back of a stranger's car could potentially come with risks. DeVynne Starks and Jillian Anderson are co-founders of the app HERide, a women-only rideshare company that focuses on the safety of women. They heard horror stories about women being victimized and created a company that helps to insure women arrive at their destination safely. DeKalb County Sheriff Melody Maddox says women should always assess and not put themselves in a questionable situation. She also shares valuable tips to keep women safe.
