MACON, Ga. (AP) — One of two men accused in the February shooting death of a Mercer University basketball player has pleaded not guilty.

The Telegraph (http://bit.ly/248GLCv) reports that 34-year-old Damion D. Henderson pleaded not guilty Wednesday to three counts of felony murder, one count of malice murder and other charges.

Henderson, along with 26-year-old Jarvis Miller, are accused of fatally shooting 23-year-old Jibri Bryan while he was sitting in a car outside a store in Macon.

Bibb County Sheriff's Office Investigator Shaun Bridger testified in March that Henderson was trying to sell Bryan fake prescription drugs. Bridger says Bryan realized the pills were fake, refused to buy them and then was shot.

Henderson and Miller have each blamed each other for the slaying of Bryan, who was a sixth-year senior from Savannah.
