Live batting practice begins at Braves Spring Training

It is an annual rite of Spring Training. Live batting practice is sort of like the first day of football players hit with their pads on at practice.

And it should be getting everyone excited for the upcoming season.

It was no different Wednesday at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports. This will be the last time the Braves get to do this in Kissimmee, Florida.

Hitters stood in there against pitchers who haven't quite mastered the art of control but they are still throwing close to 100 miles per hour.

It's always a fun time for managers like Brian Snitker who sped around the backfields in golf carts just to see who's squaring-up on the ball and who's not.
