Lighting ceremony at Mercedes-Benz Stadium
ATLANTA - Atlanta's new Mercedes-Benz Stadium is looking a little brighter after a special ceremony Thursday morning.
For the first time, officials lit up the "Star and Script."

It was an exciting moment for Atlanta's new stadium, and another step closer to opening its doors to fans.
The first game is set for August 26 when the Falcons open the 2017 home schedule with a preseason game against Jacksonville.
