Friday Night Heights - Forsyth County

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Friday Night Heights takes the chopper to three of the four corners of Forsyth County. HIGH 5’s Cody Chaffins took to the air on a very windy Friday night.

The first stop was over West Forsyth Wolverines, who are first place in AAAAAAA Region 5, was all Blacked Out as they took on region rivals Lambert Longhorns.

The Wolverines get on the board early during their opening drive giving them the 7-0 lead.

But the Longhorn defense came to play and hooked them in the end. Final score 17-7 Longhorns.

Lambert takes over the top spot. They will need to hold off Milton next week and Forsyth Central at the start of November to stay undefeated in the region.

The Wolverines, at the mercy of other region play, go on to battle North and then South Forsyth, but don’t count them out yet.

It was then a quick flight over to South Forsyth where they host North Forsyth. The War Eagles and Raiders may be at the bottom of the region, but still a great rivalry game.

South Forsyth runs away with this game. Final score is 42-7 War Eagles. They play Forsyth Central next week and then West Forsyth.

North Forsyth has a good opportunity to stay in it with games against West Forsyth and Milton over the next two weeks.
