The Falcons treated a group of wives of fallen soldiers to a special night out on the town.

Friday night, a group of Falcons players wined and dined with several gold star wives.

The women, who came to town from Fort Stewart near Savannah, started their day with a shopping spree in Buckhead.

That was followed by a mini makeover.

Then it was off to dinner at American Cut with Ben Garland, Keanu Neal, and other Falcons players.

The team said the event was a great way to pay their respects.

"It means a lot. I lost my husband in 2003. His helicopter was shot down in Iraq," gold star wife Donna Gilmore said. "So it's been almost 15 years now for me, and for someone to remember him, his service, and remember his family, it means more than you can realize."

As part of the event, the team also put the women up at the Saint Regis Hotel in Buckhead.
