Brooking, Hearst part of 8 to be inducted to Georgia Hall

MACON, Ga. (AP) — Former Georgia Tech and Atlanta Falcons linebacker Keith Brooking and former Georgia and NFL running back Garrison Hearst are part of an eight-member 2017 class of inductees into the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
The class announced on Wednesday will be honored on Feb. 25 at the Macon City Auditorium.
The class also includes former Georgia Tech and NBA basketball star Matt Harpring, current Georgia tennis coach Manuel Diaz, former Georgia women's golf coach and administrator Liz Murphy, track and football standout Willie Gault, former Georgia golfer Laura Coble and longtime NFL center Jeff Saturday, a four-time All-Pro selection with the Colts.
The eight were selected by the Hall of Fame's Honors Court.
