Braves beat the Mets 4-3 in Spring Training action

The Braves picked up another win Tuesday with their 4-3 victory over the Mets during a Spring Training game. This is their second straight win.

Chipper Jones insists he is not interested in managing but there he was Tuesday bringing out the lineup card. Isn't that half the job of a manager? Just saying.

Sean Newcomb started on the mound and looked good. He pitched a couple of scoreless innings and struck out a batter.

Jackson and Contreras homered for the Braves.

Putting them up one over the Mets.

Chad Sobotka picked up with the win with a scoreless inning and a couple strikeouts.

Austin Riley also got in a couple of hits.

It is good to see the bats wake up in Spring Training.

The Braves travel to Palm Beach for a game with the Cardinals Wednesday afternoon.
