Football is coming! That was the message posted to the Atlanta Falcons Facebook page as they announced their 2019 regular-season schedule.

It showed a video parodying the Game of Thrones opening credits scene, but instead of castles and holds, it was stadiums and fields.

The Falcons open their season on the road for the third straight year, but this time in Minneapolis against the Vikings. That is on Sept. 8.

The Dirty Birds come home to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium the following week to take on the Eagles, who have won the last three meetings of the two teams including a divisional playoff game.

Thanksgiving Day will see the Falcons play their arch-rivals the Saints. Last season, they didn’t save a drum stick for the Falcons in their turkey day meeting.

The Falcons can’t lose the week of Nov. 3. They also can’t win as they are on a bye that week.
