Women robbed in Virginia Highland
ATLANTA - The entire crime took less than 60 seconds, according to a female victim, who along with a friend, were held up after leaving a Virginia Highland nightspot.
She had been walking to her home when three men walked close to her. There were no red flags until two of the three pulled weapons. The third man acted as a lookout.
They were instructed to be calm and comply. They did that, handing over their purses. But the men did an extra check, patting down the women.
After they took their belongings, they guided both women to the ground and told them to look away as they got into a vehicle and drove off.
The victim who spoke to FOX 5 News said everyone in her office asked what she was doing at work after such a harrowing experience. She said it is better to go about her normal routine than to think about being a victim.
