As FOX 5 was covering the story, other victims emerged, including Mount Calvary Baptist in Shannon. Pastor Adrian Craig said Duffy offered to surrender a ring and her license for the money. But he said he turned down any collateral, believing he was helping.

Police said the congregations are targets, apparently because of elderly members in rural settings. The list of charges against Bennett and Duffy appears to be growing.

So far both women are facing five charges of exploitation of an elderly person, and four misdemeanor counts of theft by deception for the loss of about $1,000.

Floyd County police strongly believe there are other victims, and are asking anyone with information to give them  a call. The two women live in the Rome area, but police are checking with other agencies in the Metro Atlanta area to see if there are other victims elsewhere.
