Woman who fights off attacker, shares her story
ATLANTA - Nathalie Brandon Robinson thought she was going to die when a stranger attacked her outside of her home Thursday night.
"I was about to put my keys in the door when a teenager came up and grabbed me and put his hand over my mouth," Robinson said.
It happened just before 6 p.m. at the Ashley Apartment Complex off Bell Street.
"I thought he was going to push me in my apartment where I would likely die," Robinson said.
With nothing to lose, Robinson said she fought back to save her life.
"I kicked him and I bit his finger so hard like a dog does to a bone," Robinson said.
Atlanta Police released surveillance video of four young men bolting from the complex seconds after the assault. Police say one of them is Robinson's attacker.
"I screamed so hard, I don't think he was expecting me to put up a fight," Robinson said.
Police said the attacker got away empty handed. Robinson hopes someone comes forward with information.
"With the injuries I gave him, someone has to know," Robinson said. "I hope they come forward before someone else becomes a victim like me."
