Woman shot in car outside Hall County home

HALL COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A woman is in the hospital after she was shot in a car outside a home.

It happened just before midnight on Marlow Drive in Gainesville.

Deputies say the 37-year-old was inside the car with a man when someone walked up and started shooting.

The woman was shot in the face and the gunman took off running.

Officials say she was transported in critical condition.

The man was not injured.
