Woman arrested in Mableton home invasion case

In an arrest warrant released earlier this month, Tanks had been charged with residential robbery, aggravated assault, false imprisonment and cruelty to children.

She is accused of invading a home in the 5100 block of Inwood Place on March 26, where she and two other suspects held a woman and two children at gunpoint demanding money.

Police say that Tanks came to the family's front door, claimed to know someone inside, and begged for money.

When a resident answered the door she tried to force her way into the home.

The door was slammed in her face and she came back later with the two armed men.

The woman and children were able to get away unharmed and call the police.
