Why does it smell like natural gas in Cobb, Paulding counties?

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Several FOX 5 Atlanta viewers have been reporting a “natural gas” smell around the northern portion of metro Atlanta.

Atlanta Gas Light said they are performing maintenance on a pipeline which “may result in a strong odor of natural gas.”
