WASHINGTON (AP) - For the first time in his presidency, Barack Obama will be greeting a visiting dignitary at Andrews Air Force Base.
The president and first lady Michelle Obama decided to be at the foot of the airplane stairs to welcome Pope Francis this afternoon when he arrives from Cuba.
Wednesday, the pope visits the White House.
Some 15,000 people have been invited to the arrival ceremony on the South Lawn.
