A heartbroken community gathered on Thursday to mourn the devastating loss of a mother, her teenage son, and her unborn child.

Sandra White and her children were all killed during an hours-long SWAT standoff by White’s live-in boyfriend one week ago.

Two coffins, carrying the bodies of Sanda and 16-year-old Arkeyvion White, were taken inside the Tabernacle of Praise Church International in McDonough Thursday evening. A smaller casket, carrying the body of Sandra White’s unborn baby, Antonio, then followed.

A group from Atlanta Medical Center, who worked as nurses with White, gathered with photos of Little Antonio, his mother, and half-brother memorialized on T-shirts they were wearing. Her friends said as a nurse and person, she always helped others but didn't ask for help for herself.

The public visitation for this slain mother and her two children comes on one of the days of National Crime Victims’ Right's Week. Friends said it's a tragic loss with a message for others.

Police said the gunman, White's live-in boyfriend Anthony Bailey, murdered them, shot and injured two police officers then took his own life. Authorities believe White, who was nearly nine months pregnant, was trying to end her abusive relationship with Bailey.

A joint celebration of life ceremony will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church on Campbellton Road in Atlanta.
