Vigil for teenage girl shot to death

COBB COUNTY, Ga. - Cobb County police are investigating the deadly shooting of a teenage girl.

Officers said the shooting happened Tuesday night on Mableton Parkway. Family members said an 11-year-old accidentally shot and killed a 14-year-old girl.

A vigil was held by family members and friends Wednesday night, in memory of the teen.

“Very outgoing, lots of personality, beautiful little girl, she's going to be well missed,” said family friend Rod Harris.

Investigators said they are still questioning anyone with information.
